Seven cadets from the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) are under investigation for allegedly maltreating 22 students, leading to criminal charges against them. The incident has raised concerns about the treatment of cadets within the academy.
In response to the situation, PNPA Director Nartatez welcomed the filing of charges, emphasizing the importance of accountability in addressing hazing practices, including incidents involving muriatic acid. He urged new PNPA leaders to strictly enforce anti-hazing rules to ensure the safety and well-being of all cadets.
